Fundraising
Community First Responder teams are run by volunteers from the local community. This means that individuals give freely of their time to help others in the community.
Due to the cut backs that we are all aware of in the NHS, the Community First Responders are funded by charitable donations. These are from local councils, organisations, individuals and the general public.
As you can imagine the cost of a defibrillator and associated kit/equipment is expensive and needs to be replaced as required. Also there are other ongoing costs relating to continual training and assessment.
We are always looking for assistance with regards to fundraising. If you can assist in that area please get in touch.
If you would like to donate to the charity, please contact us and we will insure that the contribution you make is used to fund the activities of the Community First Responders in this area.
